本擴展不能單獨遊玩，必須配合卡坦基礎版，使遊戲擴展到5-6人同時遊玩。

 

卡坦系列遊戲自1995年面世以來，推出過多個版本，以及多款擴展、擴充。本擴展的配件可與其他使用塑膠模型配件的版本一同遊玩，包括栢龍玩具有限公司版本的卡坦（基礎版）、卡坦：基礎+中國版圖的基礎遊戲、及卡坦：海洋擴充。

 

現在卡坦島變得更大，可以容納5-6位玩家一同開拓了！

 

在卡坦5-6人擴展，每位玩家控制一群開拓者，勘探開採資源豐厚的卡坦島。快來登上這片世外桃源，跟對手競爭，體驗無窮樂趣吧。

 

增加玩家人數並不會讓遊戲變得複雜，快喚來更多親朋好友一同來享受卡坦的樂趣吧！新增綠色和棕色玩家配件，還有兩個海港和11塊地形板塊，使得整個遊戲版圖更遼闊。
