Concordia: Balearica featuresthe balearic islands of MAIORICA (Mallorca), MINORICA (Menorca), EBUSUS(Ibiza), and FRUMENTARIA (Formentera).


Each player starts with twoships already at sea. There is no capital city to start from. Land colonistsare built only later in the game, but can switch their position between theislands.


As an extra, Concordia:Balearica comes with a fishmarket. The fishmarket may be combined not only withthe new BALEARICA map, but also used as a variant together with the base gameor any other CONCORDIA map.


As a new commodity, fishreplaces the ordinary bonus units you usually collect when playing yourPrefect. The bonus is doubled up to 2 fish in provinces which have failed toproduce in the last round. Sell your fish on a separate fishmarket, where youcan get either goods, cash, or special actions in return. This way thefishmarket offers an extra layer of planning ahead, and new challenges for theexperienced CONCORDIA player.


The opposite side of this boardhas the CYPRUS map for all who have missed it when buying Concordia: Venus(Expansion).
